Winners of the Footwear Industry Awards 2020 were recently announced at a ceremony held at the National Conference Centre, Birmingham on 23 February. Now in its ninth year, the Footwear Industry Awards celebrate excellence and innovation across the sector.
Offering a wide range of categories designed to reflect the varied breadth of the footwear trade, the awards recognise the very best companies, products and individuals at every level; from independent start-ups through to multinational corporations.
Award winners from the children’s footwear sector
Taking home 2020’s award for Best Children’s Footwear Brand of the Year was Ricosta (pictured top). Froddo was also highly commended in this category. Klodhoppers, meanwhile, scooped Children’s Footwear Retailer of the Year.

Another children’s footwear specialist in the retail category was Stampede, which won New Independent Retailer of the Year. Children’s shoe shop Colourful Soles also won Shop Front of the Year.
Supporters of the Footwear Industry Awards include the British Footwear Association (BFA); the Society of Shoe Fitters (SSF); the Worshipful Company of Cordwainers; and Footwear Friends.
