The Bonnie Mob

The swimwear collection by UK sustainable baby and children’s clothing brand, The Bonnie Mob (pictured above), is made from Repreve fabric using recycled plastic bottles with UVB 50 sun protection. Everything from the collection is bathed in a sun-kissed colour palette, evoking the warm embrace of summer. All of the brand’s other items are made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton.

 

 

Wheat

Wheat’s swimwear collection is predominantly made from recycled polyester and includes a range of separates, all-in-one swimsuits, and one-pieces. Each style is made with UV 40+/UPF 40+ protection and is Oeko-Tex certified. Complementing the swimwear is a range of beach shoes made in neoprene with prints to match. The outsole of the shoes is made of recycled TR rubber, which offers durability, traction and extra protection for toes.

 

 

Slipfree®

Slipfree® is on a mission to keep children safe with its unique non-slip shoes for the beach, pool and home. Designed with protection and comfort in mind, the shoes are soft, flexible and easy to swim in, with sizes spanning from nine months to adult. There is also a range of matching swimwear available, including swimsuits, swim shorts, swim hats and towelling ponchos. All Slipfree® products are UPF50+ and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 rated, with the majority of products being made of recycled polyester.

 

 

Muddy Puddles

Muddy Puddles’ mission statement is to ‘connect growing explorers with nature by designing excellent quality, sustainable clothing that protects them in all weathers, is kind to our planet and the people who make them.’ The brand’s UV-protective swim pieces are made from recycled fishing nets with a sun protection factor of 50+ UPF. Arms are full length for maximum coverage and the legs of all-in-ones are below the knee. The key piece of the collection is the colourful, waterproof beach robe with contrast fleece lining and light padding.

 

 

Marena

Marena’s latest offering of jelly sandals is now available in matt beige and white. Perfect for play and designed for durability, the sandals have already become a UK summer staple and are ideal for any occasion, from beach days to garden parties. The matt finish also adds a practical touch, keeping
scuffs and stains at bay. From s/s 24, the sandals come complete with a branded drawstring bag that doubles up as a keepsake for treasured mementoes.

 

 

Liewood

Danish brand Liewood offers a wide range of children’s swimwear and summer essentials. The new swimwear selection presents UV40+ protected, fun and functional styles and upgraded bestsellers in fresh prints and block colour combinations. For babies, Liewood introduces a leak-free and UV-protected nappy swimsuit and a floatsuit. For juniors, the brand has new wetsuits and athleisure-style board shorts. There are also new swimsuits for mothers and minis. Footwear, sunglasses, summer hats, pool floats and toys are also available.

 

 

Grass & Air

Comprising core swimwear styles for boys and girls with an overlap of gender-inclusive pieces, Grass & Air’s new Sun+Swim collection includes reversible bucket hats, colour-changing sandals and shortie wellies. Swimwear styles offer new colour pop combinations, with recycled polyester giving stretch to swimsuits and rash vests, while the brand’s micro-fibre shorts are made using recycled nylon.

 

 

Bling2o

Bling2o, best known for its fun and functional swim goggles, is launching a new sunglasses range in the UK, with a choice of stylish designs for girls and boys. The 2024 collection also includes children’s snorkels, swim caps, bags and beach towels.

 

 

Lässig

The new Splash & Fun beachwear collection from Lässig offers a mix of modern prints, classic stripes and polka dots as well as harmonious plain looks. The comprehensive offer provides a head-to-toe look and includes sun hats, swim nappies, board shorts, shirts, ponchos, sunsuits, beach leggings, beach sandals and trainers.

 

 

Lou Lou

Lou Lou is a new Australian-owned and designed premium label for children offering a collection of swimwear with a focus on nostalgic cuts and playful prints. Heirloom details include hand-crafted scalloped straps and collars with embroidery detail. Bows are also hand-folded, making each piece unique. Heritage Liberty florals paired with playful prints are key. The entire collection is also sealed with a UPF 50+ coating.
