Childrenswear brand Rapife undertakes the manufacture of approved and reusable masks
Spanish childrenswear brand Rapife has been selected by the government of the Valencian Community as a manufacturer of sanitary masks.
The brand is now undertaking its own manufacture and distribution of masks approved by the Spanish technological institute of textiles, Aitex.
The reusable masks follow the specifications and guarantees of the Spanish Association of Standardization, UNE 0065:2020. This specification provides indications of fitting, use, removal, storage and washing; the essentials to ensure protection.
Rapife’s new project responds to the current high demand for barrier systems and products to help fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
The project also reflects the company’s strong commitment to caring for the health of entire families. The masks use Rapife’s own 100% combed cotton and natural fibres such as bamboo, Chitosan and organic cotton.
They comprise four protective layers of non-woven fabric that provide a barrier of bacterial protection against particles together with breathability. It is also possible to wash the masks up to five times without them losing their properties.
Masks are available for both adults and children. Children’s masks come in the choice of three sizes: Small for ages 3 to 5 years; Medium for 6 to 9 years; and also Large for 10 to 12 years.
The approved and reusable masks will be available to the entire retail market in the UK and Ireland. For further information call Guy Ingram on 07721 564637 or email guyingram@me.com. For more information on Rapife, please click here.
