Kids’ fashion fair CIFF Youth has confirmed that it will be changing both its dates and venue for future shows. The move comes as the trade fair looks to create optimal conditions for its event.
CIFF Youth has matched its new dates of 21–23 June 2020 with key buyers’ schedules and budgets. It will also be taking a new location in central Copenhagen.
The show aims to strengthen the Scandinavian children’s industry by moving the dates closer to some of Europe’s most prominent youth trade shows that take place in June.
By moving CIFF Youth to the end of June, the event expects to attract more key buyers who are already in Europe and in the middle of the buying season.
Commenting on the changes is Kristian W. Andersen, chief innovation officer of CIFF and CIFF Youth. “As the youth fashion industry evolves, so do we. We have faced an increasing demand from our clients to move CIFF Youth’s dates, allowing them to book relevant buyers before they close their budgets.
“It is our priority to please our brands and visitors by meeting their needs and offering top-notch service quality and a unique experience.”
New location in central Copenhagen
Stepping out of Copenhagen Fashion Week, the show has also decided to move CIFF Youth’s venue. It will now take place at the historic location of Øksnehallen to benefit from the advantages of the city centre.
The venue is located in Vesterbro, which is just a few minutes away from Copenhagen Central Station.
