Winter 2021 sees the launch of Five of Us, a new customisable, made to order childrenswear label that uses sustainably sourced fabrics. Five of Us is designed by founder Queralt Ferrer, an experienced global design and creative director.

Growing up in Barcelona as the youngest of five children, Ferrer’s inspiration for Five of Us is fond childhood memories of playfulness, freedom and adventure with her four older brothers. Ferrer loved wearing beautiful outfits that didn’t deter her from playing games in the garden, chasing her brothers, or climbing trees.

 

 

The same versatility, quality and process involved in designing unique pieces made to last is where the Five of Us story begins. Made in Spain, Five of Us fuses traditional craftsmanship with contemporary designs; supporting small family-run businesses and artisans that have specialised in their skills for generations.

 

 

Available for girls aged 3-10 years, the seasonless collection features handmade dresses, jumpsuits, skirts and tops. Everything is designed to be customised from an array of sustainably sourced, certified natural fabrics; from organic cotton to heavier weight Viyella.

 

 

Hand-finished knitwear in recycled Italian merino has optionable initial personalisation. Elsewhere, adding cotton lace collars to dresses, tops and jumpsuits transforms daywear into stylish party looks. Intricate lace detailing and pleats also feature across dresses, jumpsuits and tops.

 

 

The palette is soft and neutral across both florals and ginghams.

Shape and cuts allow for maximum longevity, comfort and movement. For instance, adjustable drawstring waists and straps on dresses and skirts for the perfect fit. Plus, a 10cm hem to extend as a child grows.
