INDX Kids, the UK childrenswear industry’s national trade show, will return on 28-29 January 2024 bringing together an expert edit of UK and international labels.

The show will present over 150 brands across children’s apparel, footwear and accessories, including an array of sustainable collections. Whether it’s organic cotton, recycled materials, or design features to increase the longevity of wear, INDX Kids will present buyers with a wide choice of innovative, eco-friendly options.

Babidu

Highlights from the January 2024 line-up include Babidu (pictured above), which produces high-quality, sustainable children’s clothing. From the choice of materials to manufacturing and packaging, Babidu strives to minimize its environmental footprint. Its timeless designs are also made to withstand the test of time and adapt to multiple seasons, helping to reduce clothing waste.

BamBam

BamBam offers a substantial sustainable range that utilises recycled materials as much as possible. Items include bamboo plates, cups and cutlery; organic clothing and socks, and plush toys using recycled and sustainable materials. Products are also BPA-free, and the brand’s wooden toys are made from sustainably produced FSC wood.

Ducky Zebra

For those looking for colourful, sustainable, gender-neutral clothes for babies and children up to 6 years, don’t miss Ducky Zebra. The brand uses high-quality, GOTS organic cotton, has generous sizing, and includes features like turn-up cuffs to allow clothes to grow with a child. Ducky Zebra also has a pre-loved programme and works with various companies to allow customers to rent its clothes in the UK and Ireland.

Kite

Committed to sustainable sourcing, long-standing INDX Kids exhibitor Kite will be presenting its latest childrenswear collection at January’s show. Kite ensures all its products are planet-friendly and manufactured in an ethically responsible way. Its clothes are all made with certified organic cotton, recycled plastic bottles, or fabrics approved by OEKO-TEX. Natural materials and production methods also feature wherever possible, such as coconut shells for buttons and apple juice extracts to soften cotton jeans instead of harsh chemicals.

Meia Pata

Amid Portuguese brand Meia Pata’s spring/summer offer is a swimwear collection for boys and girls. The swimwear ranges from birth to 10 years for children and has matching ladies’, men’s and beach accessories. As well as providing UPF 50+ protection, the swimwear features 80% recycled polyamide.

Noppies

Netherlands-born brand Noppies will be making its show debut at INDX Kids in January offering organic baby clothing and modern kidswear made from sustainable materials. Alongside statement prints and distinctive fits that add a unique character to the various collections, the brand’s entire Baby Basics collection is never out of stock and is available to order all year round.

Pip & Henry

Sustainable children’s shoe brand Pip & Henry will be introducing its latest collection at INDX Kids, combining warmth, style and sustainability to provide planet-friendly winter shoe solutions for parents and kids. Featuring eco-friendly and recyclable materials, including sustainably sourced furs, metallic uppers and recycled rubber, the shoes are also designed with the help of podiatrists to ensure correct foot growth and support healthy bone development.

Toby Tiger

A leading name in organic kidswear, Toby Tiger will be joining INDX Kids in January. The brand has long been celebrated for its bold and colourful patterns, combining style with ethical practices to create clothing that both kids and parents love. Toby Tiger’s latest collection seamlessly blends fun and functionality while adhering to the highest standards of sustainability and a commitment to using organic materials and environmentally friendly practices.

Turtledove London

Slow fashion brand Turtledove London will be returning to INDX Kids with its latest 100% organic childrenswear collection. New garment types include gilets and ponchos for in-season layering and wide-leg cropped joggers that work equally well with winter boots as summer sandals. Designs also work as shorter styles when the child grows taller, including dresses, skirts and adjustable strap dungarees. Plus, don’t miss the brand’s first knitwear designs in organic cotton yarns.

INDX Kids takes place on 28-29 January 2024 at Cranmore Park Exhibition and Conference Centre in Solihull. The show is free to attend and open to all retailers. Onsite parking is free, and visitors also enjoy complimentary barista coffee and refreshments, plus free breakfast pastries.
