Exterior window of retail store Fabric Flavours

London-based baby and kids’ brand, Fabric Flavours, has opened a new two-storey concept store in Hampstead, North West London.

Customers can now shop the brand’s full collection in-store, which includes signature licensed T-shirts, hoodies, joggers, swimwear, and jackets. Plus, bags, caps, and beanies. There is also a range for parents wanting to buy into the mini-me look.

In addition to Fabric Flavours’ clothing collection, the concept store also stocks a wide range of micro scooters, accessories, and Frog Bikes. Furthermore, children wanting to try out the scooters and bikes before they buy can head downstairs to the custom-built Velorooms, where they can test them safely.

The Velorooms were built in collaboration with skatepark design pros, Four One Four Skate Parks.

During their time in the Velorooms, children are always accompanied by a member of staff. They must also wear a helmet and pads and there is a maximum of two children per room at any time.

Whilst children safely test out their bikes or scooters, parents can take a seat and have a drink in the bar upstairs; all whilst watching their children through the store’s observation windows.

The shop before the renovation

Built circa 1920, the concept store was previously a DIY and paint shop. It has since undergone an extensive refurbishment by Fabric Flavours.

The original staircases were removed, replaced by reinforced walk-on glass to provide a view to the Velorooms below. Meanwhile, the original concrete floor has been polished and restored to its former glory.

The shop is located at 301-305 Cricklewood Lane, NW2 and is by appointment only. For further information on Fabric Flavours and its new concept store, please click here.
