Finnsøn is a new luxury changing bag and accessories brand seeking to offer a more stylish and sustainable choice for modern parents. The debut collection comprises four different styles of changing bags in several colour options. This is alongside a range of zip-pouches, change stations and stroller clips.
Finnsøn’s products are all designed for durability and longevity, with materials made from recycled plastic bottles and following strict environmental and ethical standards.
Finnsøn was founded in 2020 by Amy James and Kate Mawdsley.
The friends and former colleagues worked together in the fashion industry and share a passion for Scandinavian design and a belief in fewer, better things.
After becoming mums around the same time and struggling to find a luxury, unisex changing bag that fitted their style while respecting the environment, they pooled their design expertise to launch Finnsøn, which takes its name from their sons’ names, Finn and Larson.
There are four baby changing bag models available, including a backpack, holdall, tote and cross-body. They all feature a waterproof exterior and waterproof zip-closure. Plus, multiple internal and external pockets; a key clip; a lined pocket for wet items, and a thermo-insulated bottle holder.
The intention for all of the bags is to use them well beyond baby years.
The brand’s change stations are waterproof and quilted on the outside and wipeable on the inside. Featuring an integrated pocket to store a handful of nappies and wipes, it folds neatly under your arm. This means you don’t need to take the entire bag to do a change. The backpack, holdall and tote all include a mat, but they can also be purchased separately. Additional accessories include a zip-pouch as well as stroller clips.
Products are currently available in two colours − black and Finnsøn’s bespoke leopard-print design. Grey and camel are also available upon request.
