Two young children holding a large stick wearing outfits from the Free as a Bird collection by Turtledove London

The theme of Turtledove London’s s/s 25 collection, Free as a Bird, focuses on cleansing our oceans, rescuing sea creatures from nets, and clearing the sea of plastics. Endangered sealife recover from pollution and all animals roam free – as free as a bird.

A colour palette borrowed from the English coastline includes warm neutrals with pops of Ocean and Sunshine. Designed to wear back with previous collections, the colours bring a new refresh for boys and girls aged 0-8 years.

Marine life inspires prints this season, from the large-scale Favourite Fish print to small repeat monochrome shells. Summer skies also feature with sunny motifs and animals. Birdy Creature is another fun motif and all-over print.

Stripes are always a bestseller, with this season including a wide mono stripe designed to pair back with both plains and prints for sustainable styling options.

The brand’s bestselling organic gauze also gets a seasonal update in the Driftwood colourway. New gauze styles for 2025 include an easy-fitting hooded jacket and joggers to echo the trend for freestyle dressing.

Printed gauze in the Sunrays print is also introduced for boys and girls. The Easyfit styles are available in the brand’s organic woven check too, including a jacket, trousers and dungarees, some of which are reversible for maximum ways to wear.

The beauty of botanicals is captured in the Seaweed print viscose for boys and girls. Available to wear top-to-toe as coords or paired back with jersey separates. An extension to the bestselling jersey sets includes a new cycle short shape for boys and girls. Retro sporty taping on shorts, T-shirts and joggers brings a refresh to the jersey and baby collections. The popular crop baggies trouser shape now also features in jersey prints a a new alternative to leggings.
