Independents’ Day UK, the not-for-profit campaign to support and promote independent retail businesses across the UK, is launching a free video advice series for independent retailers.

Given the current climate, the independent retail sector will need more help than ever this year. Subsequently, over the next few months, Independents’ Day UK will be launching new initiatives to provide support.

Firstly it is inviting independent retailers from across the UK to join a series of calls via video platform, Zoom. Each session will include an expert guest to speak about a particular subject and answer any questions that retailers may have.

Subjects will include self-employment, tax and accessing finance such as government loans. Also, digital marketing advice to help independents keep in touch with their customer bases if their businesses aren’t physically open.

Independents’ Day UK is an annual, independent campaign set to take place on 4 July celebrating and promoting the UK’s independent retail businesses, both online and offline.
