Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust (FTCT), which provides financial grants for the children of UK fashion and textile families, is encouraging parents to apply now for September school uniforms. Grants can help families who are struggling to afford the cost of school uniform for their children aged 18 years and under.
Funding is also available for computer equipment if a child doesn’t have access to a home computer to complete schoolwork; laptops for secondary school age children and tablets for primary school age.
Furthermore, FTCT can fund a wide range of equipment and therapy for children with SEN educational needs, from adapted iPads through to learning aids and therapy sessions.
To apply for a grant, one parent must work or have recently worked for a UK fashion or textile company. More information on the criteria is available here.
FTCT can fund:
- School uniform (including nurseries that require uniform)
