Visitors on stand at Harrogate International Nursery Fair

The space originally contracted for Harrogate International Nursery Fair is already fully booked, with months still to go. The trade show, which takes place at the Harrogate Convention Centre, runs from 16-18 October 2022.

“This year we moved to a new layout due to changes the venue was making,” says show organiser, Adrian Sneyd. “But such has been the early uptake for space that the first four halls are sold out with still many months to go. This is excellent news and quite unprecedented in recent years; reinforcing the support from the industry to move to an October time slot that will see both returning and new exhibitors alike.

“The plan now is to open a new fifth hall. This will allow the fair to expand to grow larger than last year and offer buyers more opportunities to see a larger selection of brands without the need for extensive travelling. Some of the returning brands haven’t been seen at Harrogate for a very long time, which is great news for all.”

The new layout is all on one level, with the halls closely connected.

The aim is to make it easier for visitors to navigate quickly around the show. With additional space secured, there are now further opportunities for those who had previously not considered exhibiting.

“The show will now be permanently in October,” continues Sneyd. “A time when Harrogate – a popular UK tourist destination – is particularly busy. Therefore, I would strongly recommend that anyone planning to attend the show, both exhibitors and visitors, book accommodation early.”
