Boy Wonder Fish & Chips patches

Boy Wonder, a design-led, sustainable boys’ fashion brand ethically made in Britain, has launched a new product to support sustainability. The fish & chips design motif that appears on its bestselling certified organic cotton T-shirts and sweatshirts has been turned into iron-on clothing patches.

The idea behind the product is to extend the life of Boy Wonder garments; part of the brand’s commitment to circular and sustainable fashion. The patches are simple to iron on and come with an instruction card. They can be used to cover up rips, holes or stains. Alternatively, they can be used to liven up an old garment and give it a new lease of life.

According to WRAP, “extending the life of clothes by just nine months would reduce carbon, waste and water footprints by around 20-30% each.”

Boy Wonder is also incorporating extra growth room into its clothing. Plus, it provides complimentary repair kits and care guides to give customers the tools to care for garments; supporting the cherishing and passing down of its clothes to others.
