Independents Day UK 2019 Winterbottoms logo

Winterbottom’s Schoolwear ran a competition on Twitter this week to coincide with Independents’ Day UK 2019.

Independents’ Day UK is a national campaign that celebrates and promotes the UK’s independent retailers on the 4 July each year.

In the lead up to this year’s campaign, Winterbottom’s Schoolwear showed its support for independent schoolwear retailers across the country by running a competition on Twitter.

This week, therefore, one customer could win £100 credit to their account. Plus, also receive 10% extra discount off an order of blazers for delivery this August.

To be in with a chance to win, customers simply had to do the following:
  • Follow Winterbottom’s Schoolwear on Twitter @winterbottomsuk
  • Tweet a selfie with some of Winterbottom’s Schoolwear’s products
  • Tag @winterbottomsuk
  • Include the hashtag #ukindieday

The competition closed at 12pm on Thursday 4 July 2019. Winterbottom’s Schoolwear then selected a winner at random shortly after. The winner of the competition was Clubsport Retail Ltd.
