The childrenswear community turned out in force last month in support of the industry’s much-loved national trade show, INDX Kidswear, which took place at Cranmore Park exhibition venue in Solihull on 30-31 January.

Amidst the ongoing challenges of holding a live format event, visitor attendance for this edition of INDX Kidswear was close to its pre-Covid levels, with the show welcoming over 800 visitors across its two-day duration.

Commenting is INDX Kidswear organiser Varsha Chohan, who reflects on the positive show.

“Visitor turnout has been amazing. We are now getting back to the attendance recorded in 2020, pre-Covid. It’s been lovely to host such a busy and buzzy show and to see so many familiar faces. It’s also been encouraging to welcome so many new businesses and, whilst exhibitors have been generally delighted with the level of orders placed across the two days, the number of new accounts opened has been significant.”

Delivering an exciting showcase – which this season featured over 130 market-leading brands – INDX Kidswear is part of the INDX group of trade shows. Delivering over 20 exhibitions a year across fashion and home sectors, the events are brought to market by the leading UK buying group, Associated Independent Stores (AIS).

Renowned for its unique business and buyer-focused format, INDX Kidswear is a key order-writing show and a must-visit for all childrenswear stockists.

Buyers displayed a collectively buoyant mood during the event and ensuing visitor feedback has also been extremely positive. “This edition of the show was really inspiring,” says Annmarie Collie-King, Group Buyer, AIS. “I was able to place orders with all my key suppliers in addition to sourcing some lovely new brands to put in front of my customers. It’s great to be involved in such a friendly industry and to be able to attend such an exciting industry show.”

Exhibitors who supported the recent show have also been quick to praise its success.

“INDX Kidswear has a great atmosphere,” says Mark Loveland from Pex. “It’s perfect for meeting up with both customers and fellow suppliers alike, all under one roof. It’s the ideal venue to seek quality sales leads and in terms of business opportunities, we have opened numerous new accounts with both bricks and mortar shops and online businesses.”

“INDX Kidswear is an exhibition you should not miss out on,” adds Raplife’s Chelo Martinez. “If you’re interested in the United Kingdom and Ireland markets, to attend INDX Kidswear is essential.”

INDX Kidswear will return to Cranmore Park on 3-4 July 2022, and exhibitors are already lining up to reserve their stands. Visitor registration is open and can be completed here. For the latest show news and updates, follow @INDXFashion.
