JoJo Maman Bébé is expanding its fundraising activities this Christmas in support of its long-standing charity partner, Action for Children. Alongside year-round fundraising efforts, JoJo is adding in-store gift box donations, joining Festive Jumper December and Knit-mas Day, as well as donating over 1,000 quality samples to the charity.
On 26 November, the JoJo head office team volunteered alongside Action for Children to prepare and pack good-quality samples into boxes. Together, they packed an estimated 1,200 samples, all of which will be donated to support vulnerable children across the UK.
Until 21 December, JoJo is reducing the price of its standard gift box to £2 in all its stores, with 100% of proceeds going to Action for Children. Throughout December, the store teams will also be taking part in Festive Jumper December, wearing Christmas jumpers all month long, as well as joining themed dress-up on the weekends.
In addition to this, JoJo’s head office and remote teams will join in Action for Children’s Knit-mas Day on 11 December. Employees will wear their best Christmas jumpers and festive outfits, celebrating together whilst raising funds through donations.
Fundraising initiatives and community involvement
Since the beginning of the partnership, JoJo’s corporate donations and fundraising events have raised and contributed around £94,000 to Action for Children, with ambitions to surpass £109,000 before the New Year. Employees have also supported the cause by taking part in activities like skydiving, running marathons, and joining Boycott Your Bed sleepouts.
Teams have volunteered at Action for Children events, participated in workshops with the charity’s team to learn more about the Parent Talk service, and raised awareness by rallying support in last year’s Secret Santa 2024 appeal, with customer donations increasing total funds.
