Leading childrenswear brand Kite Clothing has launched its s/s 24 collection with the theme Hello Earth, placing a spotlight on the conversation it would love children to have with the planet they are inheriting.

Reflecting on the beauty of the natural world, from weeds and wildflowers to majestic animals and precious rainforests, Kite has drawn on some awe-inspiring subjects to create a thought-provoking collection.

What’s new?

This season Kite is sharing lots of new all-over prints in popular, stand-out colourways alongside an array of versatile neutrals. The bright and bold Planet Pals print can be combined with the Rainbow Caterpillar designs, a new classic that is perfect for gifting. It also features Kite’s innovative ‘grow together’ sleepsuit, which is designed with growth spurts and sustainability in mind thanks to adaptable turn-back feet.

Flower Patch, a ditsy print, features throughout the collection and takes inspiration from flowers that children can easily plant and grow in their gardens. In the summer collection, the Rainforest print is available across a selection of special styles for all ages, enabling siblings and friends to mix and match together.

For spring, Kite has included an on-trend flare-style legging in its retro-inspired Patchwork Planet all-over print. Plus, the brand’s popular skater dresses are back, now with even more twirl.

For summer, Kite has also broadened its offer of skirts and dresses with longer-length maxi styles. In beachwear, meanwhile, it has added practical and fun giraffe towelling shorts and a longer-length beach cover-up.

Finally, Kite is introducing an alternative hair band design in the form of a bandana. The item also doubles as a head protector for children who are less keen to keep a hat on in the warm weather.

Commenting on the new s/s 24 offer is Kite’s product director, Jo Spragg.

“Our s/s 24 collection is my favourite yet. I am passionate about the sentiment of the theme, and prints like Hello Earth and Patchwork Planet reflect the mood of this season perfectly. We’ve worked hard to make sure that the colours and designs work in perfect harmony and the result is super fresh and exciting.”
