Store social distancing signage by Leach

Graphic display specialist Leach is branching into online retailing with the release of a new social distancing product line. Given many of Leach’s museum, exhibition and leisure sector customers are postponing orders, Leach is pivoting its usual business approach. The result is the launch of an ecommerce arm together with a new social distancing range.

Making sure to follow government guidelines, Leach is pledging to support retail, hospitality and leisure brands looking to install such signage when outlets begin to reopen. It is also catering for organisations that currently remain open and require essential Coronavirus-related graphics.

With over 10,000 sq. m of social distancing signage ordered in the past month alone, the firm is now printing hundreds of stock visuals available for purchase via a dedicated virtual shop.

Since Covid-19, the Yorkshire-headquartered company has seen a surge in demand for informative window, floor and wall graphics.

Commenting is James Lavin, managing director at Leach. “If you do venture out to buy essentials, no matter where you’re headed – be it a local shop, supermarket or pharmacy – most will have a poster on the wall or markings on the floor reminding you to keep your distance.

“And, when the world eventually manages to emerge from this pandemic, our lives – and how we socialise – will inevitably change; not least in the short term. As such, these infographics will become an integral part of our lives.

“Although some firms need these graphics now, I have no doubt that retailers, the exhibition sector, museums and restaurants will recover. And, each will want to make sure that they have all the necessary signage, communications and branding in place. The procurement of such collateral needs to be simple and hassle-free.”
