Liberty launches new online B2B platform dedicated to Liberty Fabrics

In order to meet the demands of international growth, Liberty has launched a new online B2B platform dedicated to Liberty Fabrics.

The Liberty Fabrics business has been steadily expanding into the global market, with wholesale representatives across 32 countries. With an expansive client list ranging from the likes of Loewe to Paul Smith, it has seen double-digit growth year-on-year.

Two main seasonal fabric collections are produced each year, with over 250 new designs as well as capsule collections.

Commenting on the development is Andrea Petochi, managing director of Liberty London / Fabrics. “We want the new e-platform to be a touch-point for new business customers to learn about our offering and how we continue to innovate as a design brand.

“Liberty Fabrics has always been at the cutting-edge of design and now serves an impressive international clientele with, as always, a sharp focus on quality, product and print. This is an important moment of growth as we continue to evolve the business in a way that also benefits our customer journey and experience.”

A Liberty Fabrics Instagram account will also launch this August. The account will focus on the expansive Fabrics community, with plans to engage both consumer and trade audiences.

A Liberty Fabrics Campaign has also been introduced. It celebrates the heritage, design and innovation of the collections dating back to the early 19th century.

In celebration of the campaign, Liberty’s iconic windows take inspiration from the print and manufacturing process of its fabrics; highlighting the bespoke process that has been finely-tuned by Liberty experts over the last 100 years.

The Liberty Fabrics campaign in-store celebrates the innovation and design process behind the brand with a complete window take-over.

Today, every bolt of Liberty fabric is the product of a custom production process. Hand-drawn by the in-house London design team; screen printed in the Liberty Printing Mill close to Lake Como; and cared for by skilled technicians who oversee the production of over 150 different designs.

Upcoming launches include avant-garde design fabrics and new quilting collections. Also, the Liberty Discovers collaboration with Matty Bovan and an expansion of the Liberty Haberdashery collection.
