Lilly + Sid’s new a/w 23 collection takes inspiration from the lessons we can learn from nature. From forest school to the vegetable patch and the journeys in between.
Wildflowers and the new characters of Millie Mouse, Billie Badger and Hattie Hobby Horse inspire prints, appliques and embroideries. Elsewhere, children can learn to count with the brand’s Numbers print and hopscotch applique. They can also name the colours in the 3-D applique rainbows.
All garments are designed for play in GOTS certified organic cotton fabrics, while positive motifs encourage a planet-friendly approach to life
Designs can be mixed and matched to create multiple outfit choices to suit any occasion. New fabrics include recycled fleece, check jacquard and eco-friendly marl to echo sportswear trends.
Sustainability is considered in the longevity of garments, too. Features include adjustable straps, roll legs and sleeves that all grow with the child. Elsewhere, reversible garments give two looks in one, meaning less washing is required.
New embellishments are used to highlight key collection features
Animal characters come to life as sleeves, pockets, knees and hoods, bringing the fun of dress-up into everyday wear. Boucle badging, 3-D ribbons and profile stitch techniques also feature to echo the magic of nature across each collection.
An extended collection for 0-8 years offers a wider selection for stockists and customers this season, with one price point enabling a clear pricing structure across all age groups.
A new Lilly + Sid cartoon will also be available in different lengths and formats for stockists to utilise across all marketing mediums. Celebrating the wonderful world of Lilly + Sid, the animation will focus on discovering nature, echoing characters and stories in the seasonal clothing collection.
