Toddler in Little Dot to Dot pink top

Little Dot to Dot is a new brand of responsibly sourced baby and children’s clothes with a focus on sustainability, organic, and high-quality fabrics.

Launched on 1 March 2020, Little Dot to Dot is the brainchild of Joanne Hesketh, who redirected her experience in the fashion industry to create the label.

“Whilst on maternity leave with my daughter I created a long to-do list,” says Hesketh. “It included learning how to bake, learn how to play the piano, be more creative, together with learning a new language; none of the above were achieved.

“However, throughout the year I was dreaming about starting my own little brand as I was shopping a lot for baby clothing. I thought as I work in the fashion industry, I can absolutely do this. My daughter is the biggest inspiration and the brand name is based on her, as she is a little Dot.”

Hesketh began creating a sustainable, responsibly sourced collection of simple, crafted, and curated clothes for both babies and children.

“I wanted my brand to have as little carbon footprint as possible,” she continues. “The collection is all organic and certified by the Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS). It also has a no plastic policy, so all of the packaging is recycled or recyclable. As a fashion brand we have little impact on the planet, which is very important to us.”

The collection comprises nine 100% organic styles catering for 0 to 5 years. For example, a two-piece frill knicker and open back top set; a long sleeve romper; a gender-neutral jog set; a dungaree; and also bloomer knickers. Additionally, in the spirit of sustainability the collection is seasonless, with pieces suitable for layering up or down.
