Maped Helix, a leader in the design and manufacture of school and stationery supplies, will exhibit at the Toy Fair at Olympia London for the first time on 23-25 January to introduce the Maped Creativ range of toys and activities.
Launching at the show and brand new for 2024, the Maped Creativ Animaker range allows young minds to create their very own animations. Each set includes all the drawing and colouring tools children aged 6-12 years could need to decorate and complete the storyboards provided; they can even create their own. Using the genius free Animaker app, young creators can then transform them into real cartoons to share with friends and family. Both Animaker Flash and Animaker Flip come in three different themes.
The Maped Creativ range also includes a wide selection of modelling kits and the award-winning Maped Creativ Dino and Unicorn Factories.
From building the dinosaur or unicorn figurine using the numbered wooden 3D puzzle provided, to covering the wooden skeleton with the unique Maped lightweight, flexible dough that hardens in four hours, children aged six plus will love bringing their very own prehistoric or mythical creature to life.
Immersing toddlers and parents alike in messy play is the Maped Creativ My First range. Targeting ages one to three years, it features products that are both easy and safe to use, allowing parents to enjoy some quality time with their toddlers whilst also helping to develop their fine motor skills.
Nurturing a love of art from the early days is My First Collages.
Comprising a set of safe scissors alongside an array of coloured paper and animal templates, My First Collages introduces young children to cutting and sticking. There is also My First Stamps, which provides two ergonomically designed patterned stampers that are ideal for young children learning how to grip. For babies and toddlers who are more hands-on, the My First Finger Paints Set includes three bright colours that are dermatologically tested and made up of a smooth texture that doesn’t drip.
For young artists learning to draw, The Lumi Board helps children perfect drawing skills by tracing templates on a light projector. Coming complete with a pack of brightly coloured Maped felt pens and over 250 images, this set spans five levels of difficulty to support ongoing development. Simply place the template on the projector, place the paper over the top, and get drawing.
Commenting on the brand’s first Toy Fair and the upcoming launches is Gray Richmond, MD at Maped Helix. “We are so excited to meet buyers from across the toy industry, and with such a colourful and innovative collection to show them, we are confident our first foray at the iconic Toy Fair will be a great one.”
