To help reduce textile waste and extend the lifespan of its products, Danish B Corp Certified children’s brand, MINI A TURE, recently launched its RE-LOVED concept in collaboration with Finnish company, Ninyes.
The brand is now introducing its latest initiative in collaboration with Tex.tracer, a platform for verified transparency in the textile industry. Via the platform, Tex.tracer aims to create a new standard for the fashion ecosystem.
To ensure a better future for coming generations, Tex.tracer is constantly addressing, solving and challenging itself and others in the pursuit of positive change, where companies are encouraged to prioritize people and the planet.
The team behind Tex.tracer consists of experts from the fashion industry with over 50 years of combined experience across more than 10 countries. The platform aims to enable everyone to make informed decisions, including end consumers, who can scan a QR code to access information about products.
Starting in 2027, it will be an EU requirement for all companies, regardless of size, to have digital product passports for their goods.
These digital product passports work to ensure transparency in supply chains and provide information about a product’s environmental and energy characteristics and impacts. MINI A TURE, therefore, is now mapping its value chain from raw material to finished product.
