Leading Italian childrenswear company Simonetta and luxury lifestyle brand Missoni have confirmed a partnership agreement for the creation of the Missoni Kids’ line. Based on a multi-year agreement, Simonetta will manage the development, production and worldwide distribution of the Missoni line, starting from the s/s 23 collection.

The key partnership between the two Italian companies, which share common values in terms of tradition, research and know-how, will result in the debut of the Missoni Kids’ Collection; embodying the timeless style, bright and cheerful aesthetics, and contemporary creativity of the brand in outfits tailored to children.

The collection for girls and boys aged 4-14 years includes an exclusive nursery capsule gift box for 3-12 months.

Commenting is Niccolò Matteo Monicelli (pictured), CEO of Simonetta Group. “A partnership of affinity and attunement that fills us with pride at having been chosen for the development of such an iconic and tradition-imbued kids’ range. The sharing of historic values and constant research of innovative solutions is key to this partnership, which confirms the Simonetta Group platform as an international leader in high-end kidswear.”

Livio Proli, CEO of Missoni Group, adds; “Joy, spontaneity, quality and beauty are values of the Missoni lifestyle that we obviously had to reveal also in ranges for kids and teenagers. We were assisted in this by finding the Simonetta Group as a partner in our high-end segment, with a shared passion for colours that will allow us to offer younger customers some must-have collections, distinctive and with an appropriate price-for-value ratio.

“We are all strongly motivated by the dual goal of offering all members of a family looks that are both reassuring and surprising, with savoir-faire, practically fuelling positivity through the strength of a smile.”
