For its February 2020 edition, UK fashion trade show Moda is updating its floorplan to replace sectors with ‘neighbourhoods’ as it builds on the event’s sense of community.

Providing space for each facet of the industry, the neighbourhoods will host a line-up of micro-communities. These will cover footwear, accessories and womenswear labels together with footwear suppliers and manufacturers from around the world.

Commenting is Adam Gough, event director of Moda. “When it came to brainstorming our 2020 theme and direction, the first thing that sprung to mind was community. With a new decade approaching, we wanted to bring our focus back to the faces behind the brands, collections and stores and build on their stories.

“The new neighbourhoods will reflect that community and our Moda manifesto, which positions fashion as an outlet of self-expression and a sense of belonging; a community of individuals collaborating, innovating and inspiring one another.”

Moda will present neighbourhoods for Woman, Accessories, Footwear and also Footwear Sourcing.

The Moda Footwear Neighbourhood will host the largest line-up of men’s, women’s and children’s footwear collections in the UK. Within the neighbourhood there will also be the dedicated Little Soles space for kids’ footwear.

Equally, celebrating its official launch in 2020, Moda Footwear Sourcing will bring the entire footwear supply chain under one roof.

Moda takes place on 23-25 February 2020 in Halls 6, 7 and 8 of the NEC, Birmingham. For further information, highlights from the last show and to access the full a/w 20 brand list, please click here.
