Award-winning children’s outdoor play brand, The Den Kit Company, has been acquired by kids’ outdoor brand Muddy Faces. The Den Kit Company will continue trading under its name with its current branding. The brand’s customer experience will also remain the same, with stockists such as Kidley, John Lewis, The National Trust, Cotswold Outdoors, The Natural History Museum and the Mulberry Bush, to name just a few. The Den Kit Company’s website, however, will have a complete relaunch at the end of October, as Muddy Faces takes the brand into an exciting new chapter.
Commenting on the acquisition is Liz Edwards, director of Muddy Faces. “We’ve admired The Den Kit Co. for years, following its journey closely. With so many shared values between us, it felt like a natural fit when founders Kay and Jo decided to retire. We are thrilled to become the new custodians of this beloved brand and look forward to continuing its legacy and helping the brand grow.”
