Sustainable baby and childrenswear website, My Little Green Wardrobe, has been named the winner of the Best Sustainable Berkshire Business in the Muddy Stilettos Awards. The awards saw fierce competition, with 75,000 businesses nominated nationwide and 765,000 votes cast. Organisers also confirmed this year was the biggest awards event they’ve held to date.

News of the award win comes at the same time as the Maidenhead business celebrates its first birthday. The site, which curates sustainably produced and ethically made clothing for children aged 0-6 years, allows customers to filter items according to their values. For instance, shoppers can select from criteria including people, planet, vegan and gives back. This ensures customers are spending their money with brands that align with their ethos.

Commenting is My Little Green Wardrobe owner and founder, Lucy Todd.

“I am absolutely thrilled to have received this award – and on the same week as the website’s first birthday. Cause for double celebrations. I started the website after struggling to shop more ethically for my own children. I’m now on a mission to help other busy parents shop more sustainably too. I’m so amazed at the response we’ve had so far and would like to thank everyone for the fantastic support.”
