In the run-up to Harrogate International Nursery Fair 2023 on 15-17 October, CWB brings you its pick of the show’s new exhibitors.

Finnsøn

Amy James and Kate Mawdsley, founders of luxury changing bag brand Finnsøn (pictured top), are exhibiting at the show for the first time this year. With a background in the fashion industry, the pair launched Finnsøn in 2022 combining extensive industry knowledge and personal experience as parents to create an award-winning changing bag and accessories line. Using only the finest recycled materials, the range meets practical needs while also being stylish, so the bags can be used with or without a baby and well beyond the nappy changing years. Finnsøn will be showcasing its INGE backpacks and SELBY tote bags in leopard print and black; FRIDA stroller organisers in black, grey, leopard and camel; OSTEN stroller clips, and KARI black changing mats. New wholesale ranges for 2023 also include the IDA holdall changing bag and ANA backpacks in black and camel.

Bloomsbury Mill

Baby and children’s brand Bloomsbury Mill specialises in fun children’s bedding and organic baby essentials. A highlight at the fair will be the brand’s organic baby collection. Crafted in GOTS certified organic cotton, the collection boasts an array of muslins, blankets and baby sleep bags. Alongside the organic collection, Bloomsbury Mill will also present its award-winning toddler nap mats and unveil new packaging for its organic baby muslins. Each thoughtfully designed package not only adds a beautiful touch to the organic muslins but also reflects the brand’s eco-conscious values.

Also available will be sheepskin nursery rugs, booties handmade in New Zealand from the softest Nappa, fully lined natural sheepskin mitts and booties presented in eco-friendly bags, and baby shower gift boxes. Cloud and Cuckoo

Cloud and Cuckoo offers natural rubber teething toys that entertain, settle and soothe. The brand’s bestseller, My Friend Goo (pictured), has a unique dummy-shaped tail feature to provide comfort and help soothe babies to sleep. Unlike a dummy, babies can explore the toy through sensory play. This develops oral and fine motor skills as well as supporting weaning, drawing, writing and speech development. The soft rubber is also more pleasant to chew and free from plastic and harmful chemicals. At this year’s show Cloud and Cuckoo is launching a range of absorbent organic cotton dribble bibs, teether clips that attach to its natural rubber toys, and curated gift sets ideal for baby showers and newborns.
