space theme collection from independent children’s bedding brand Pea

Launching June 2021, To the Moon is a new space theme collection from independent children’s bedding brand Pea. To the Moon takes children on a journey of space exploration. The colour palette features striking blues and inky purples against soothing neutrals. The third collection from Pea, To the Moon joins the brand’s nature-inspired Tree Tops and Enchanted Forest worlds.

Commenting on the new collection is Paul Hicks, co-founder of Pea. “As a little boy, I always wanted to explore the moon, but no matter how high I jumped, I could never reach it. Imagining how we’d get there is all part of the adventure.”

Pea’s award-winning reversible bedding sets act as immersive story starters, designed to transport children into imaginary worlds. Unfolding adventures around the room as their coordinating interactive wall stickers and playful prints bring bedroom walls to life.

The bedding sets are 100% cotton percale, 200 thread count and manufactured by a family-run business in northern Portugal.

Furthermore, all textiles carry the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and are successfully tested to Product Class 1. This means they contain no harmful chemicals and are also gentle on young skin. All other products are manufactured in the UK.

“We believe storytelling needn’t be confined to the pages of a book,” says Claire Quigley Ward, co-founder of Pea. “Just as stories twist and grow in new directions, so too do little imaginations. We’re passionate about feeding children’s imaginations. Our bedding creates a nourishing bedroom in which their creativity can take root and grow.”

Pea will also have a pop-up at John Lewis Kingston from 21-28 June, where customers can see the new To the Moon collection in person as well as Pea’s Enchanted Forest and Treetops ranges.
