Pitti Bimbo 102, held in Florence this January, drew around 1,000 industry professionals, including 700 buyers, 38% of whom came from overseas – notably Spain, South Korea, China, Turkey, Japan, Russia, the UK, Saudi Arabia, France, and the US. This season’s brand selection comes from three main show segments. Among them was The New Edit, a collaboration with Spanish childrenswear label Bobo Choses, which spotlighted brands that are expanding the boundaries of kidswear with original, surprising design. Also, Piazza Pirouette, which made its return to Pitti to present new a/w 26 collections and the latest ready-to-order items alongside the Pirouette Runway Show. Finally, The Family Circle, a Hamburg-based marketplace renowned for accessories and lifestyle products, whose selection of brands and curated space included wooden toys, kids’ room décor, accessories and decorations. We also celebrate Sarabanda for its 35th anniversary.
Bobo Choses
Bobo Choses (pictured above) is a Barcelona-based sustainable clothing brand for children and adults, and since 2009, it has celebrated life’s curiosities with a spirit of play. Collections are inspired by stories and focus on eco-friendly, locally produced, high-quality garments. The brand emphasises creativity, passion and environmental responsibility, aiming to create lasting, comfortable clothing. It also focuses on reducing its environmental footprint, using organic and recycled materials, with most production occurring locally in Spain and Portugal. Collections include children’s and women’s clothing, as well as accessories and home products. This is the first time Bobo Choses has shown its world at Pitti Bimbo. Alongside developing The New Edit area to showcase its own and other brands’ collections, it presented a playful installation highlighting its sense of fun and the archive of the seasonal Bobo Choses books, which are the launch pad for its creative process each season and are also available for sale. The a/w 26 collection, All About Monsters, celebrates the beauty of being different. It reminds us that difference is never a flaw, it’s a superpower.

Maison Mangostan
Maison Mangostan was founded in Spain in 2016 by a multicultural family, combining creativity, comfort, and high-quality production. Its clothing and footwear stand out in the market by celebrating children’s creative expression through fashion. Inspired by a passion for exploring the world, cultures and arts, it creates unique, eye-catching designs that become signatures for their wearers. Coming from a traditional shoemaking family, the brand focuses on quality and comfort, carefully crafting each model with the best materials. Products are thoughtfully designed in Spain and mainly produced in Portugal and Spain. Every pair of shoes is unique and made with love, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern, eco-friendly techniques to respect the environment and everyone involved in the process. The collection expanded to include clothing several seasons ago. For a/w 26, it has produced a collection called Dear Mother Earth, a tribute to Mother Earth, rural life, self-sufficiency, and the beauty of returning to our origins. Inspired by the nomadic culture of Mongolia – its way of life in yurts and its deep respect for nature and community – we celebrate a slower, more conscious way of life. A life connected to the land, to craftsmanship, and to what truly matters. Warm, earthy tones, rich colour accents, and artisanal details reflect this spirit of freedom, resilience and harmony with nature. Each piece tells a story of balance between tradition and modernity. Designed for children to move freely, explore endlessly, and feel grounded wherever they are. We love the delicately drawn, whimsical picnic print that features in styles across baby and girls.

Cozmo
Cozmo was born in 2014 as a small brand dedicated to providing high-quality, natural baby clothing. Its journey began with a commitment to excellence, ensuring each piece was crafted with care and consideration. The brand’s history is deeply rooted in a rich heritage of textile production. Behind Cozmo is a family business dedicated to textile art and craftsmanship for over 70 years, passing down traditions and knowledge through three generations. This legacy is woven into every piece it creates, celebrating the beauty of the garments and the softness of the fibres. Brighter winter tones refresh comfortable, high-quality pieces, creating modern everyday looks with endless mix-and-match possibilities and coordinated sibling styles. Cozmo’s a/w 26 campaign, The Perfect Game, is a vibrant winter collection with strong mix-and-match, bold colour stories and comfortable styles. When the final bell rings, children rush to the playground to play what they call the perfect game: a moment of pure joy where there is no competition, only friendship, laughter, and the excitement of playing together. It’s the perfect game, not because someone wins, but because everyone shares it. We love the retro graphic slogans and the rich, nostalgic and gender-neutral colour palette.

Goldie + Ace
Goldie + Ace, founded in 2017 by Alana after 15 years of global production experience, uses high-quality, slow, precise manufacturing in China. Designed for siblings, daily wear and quality, it promotes responsible production, natural fibres and gentle dyes, with all garments Oeko-Tex certified. The Hey Buddy! collection celebrates growth, friendships, confidence, gardens and winter’s quiet magic. It also plays on the double meaning of ‘bud’ – the first signs of blooming and friends who grow with you. The season features muddy hands, warm hearts, chilly mornings, and cosy afternoons. It balances outdoor play with comfort, with big boots, planted seeds, and growing friendships. Colours are grounded and warm, textures invite touch, and prints include patchwork florals, floral motifs, and the character Buddy the Koala on statement pieces. Vintage overalls, relaxed sweats, and layered essentials foster play and comfort with a lived-in feel. We love the unisex overalls and the new Smurfs capsule collection, which pairs perfectly with the nostalgia of Goldie + Ace’s aesthetic.
