Pitti Immagine Bimbo is expanding, returning to Fortezza da Basso in Florence on 18-20 January 2023 with a renewed and increasingly international brand mix. Fashion, lifestyle, beauty care and publishing will all feature in new, colourful exhibition itineraries. This is alongside events, debuts and collaborations as well as a focus on sustainability across the show’s three days.
At this season’s fair, a large space will be dedicated to research, highlighting the reference brands and new names that have chosen Pitti Bimbo as their launchpad. The exhibition itinerary has also been expanded to include new pavilions featuring everything from family lifestyle and kids’ bedroom design to toys and beauty products
There will be 250 brands taking part in this edition of Pitti Bimbo, around 70% of which are international. All participating brands will also present on the Pitti Connect digital platform.
PITTIWAY
PITTIWAY, the theme of the next Pitti Immagine winter fairs, is the result of a joint effort between creative talents and artists coordinated by creative director Angelo Figus. The campaign conceived for Pitti Bimbo 96 is expressed in a video presented by director Leonardo Corallini.
Commenting on the new theme is Agostino Poletto, general director of Pitti Immagine. “PITTIWAY underlines the many possible choices we must consider to exit from the complicated global gridlock. In this moment that is difficult yet also creative, innovative and diverse, the Pitti Immagine shows will be a compass for defining new directions, conceiving possible pathways and considering the possible choices to then restart.”
The Pitti Bimbo itinerary
Inside the Fortezza da Basso, two macro areas will present the evolution of kidswear. 100% Bambino will showcase big designer labels and iconic brands, presenting micro-outfits for newborns through to ceremonial outfits and activewear for school and leisure. The brands brought together in 100% Bambino, which will be staged on the ground floor of the Main Pavilion and, from this edition, also in the Ghiaia Pavilion, combine both style and practicality and increasingly respond to the demands of eco-sustainable fashion.
Staged at the Cavaniglia Pavilion, The Kid’s Lab offers a creative showcase for international, cutting-edge kidswear. Expect young and pioneering brands that stand out for their design, choice of materials and their philosophy.
In addition, from 6 December and continuing throughout the winter, Pitti Bimbo will be online via the Pitti Connect platform and its community’s social network channels.
