Building on the success of its s/s 22 Joy & Positivity Collection, Muddy Puddles has recoloured its rainbow print for the s/s 23 Planet Happy Collection. The new palette uses bold blue, a rose-hued lilac, red, soft golden orange, and warm, blue-toned green.
There’s also a new puffin print in a collaboration with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), which will see Muddy Puddles donate a percentage of profits from the sale of all puffin-printed items.
Muddy Puddles is recently B Corp certified.

Muddy Puddles remains committed to sustainable sourcing. Both its waterproof outerwear and UPF50+ protective swim pieces within this collection are made from 100% recycled fabrics. Packaging, meanwhile, is fully compostable, corn starch polybags.
The 10,000mm waterproof EcoLight Jackets and Puddle Suits feature fully taped seams and a grey marl jersey lining for comfort. The contrasting bright zips are waterproof, with matching elasticated trim at the hood edge. Plus, the sleeve openings now have an elasticated cuff to prevent any water from wicking up the sleeves.
Muddy Puddles’ UV protective swim pieces are made from fully recycled fabric with a sun protection factor of 50+ UPF.
Arms are full length for maximum coverage and the legs of all-in-ones are below the knee. The key piece of the collection is a waterproof beach robe. The bright, fully waterproof coverup features both a soft contrast fleece lining and light padding.
The Planet Happy Collection includes the EcoLight Waterproof Jackets and Puddle Suits; waterproof beach robes; towelling ponchos; UV protective rash vests; shorts; surf suits and swimsuits. Plus, two-piece sets and sunhats.
Muddy Puddles works with a small handful of high-quality suppliers with proven records of ethics and environmental production practices that are regularly checked through SMETA and Amfori/BSCI reports. The relationships with these suppliers are longstanding and maintained with regular trips to visit their offices and factories.
