Clothes on rail at Playtime Paris exhibition

After a two-year absence due to the global pandemic, Playtime Paris made its return to Parc Floral on 29-31 January 2022. Over 200 brands showcased their a/w 22/23 collections, attracting nearly 2,000 international buyers to the ‘Wonderland’ themed event. This edition of the show also marked the arrival of more than 80 new fashion and lifestyle brands, as well as cosmetics and skincare companies.

Immediately after Playtime Paris, buyers who have verified accounts on the event’s Marketplace could ‘rediscover’ the entire show thanks to an immersive street view technology. While ‘walking’ the aisles, buyers can place orders by clicking on their favourite brand’s booth. This will take them directly to the brand’s collection on the Marketplace.

Over 35% of the buyers who attended in January were new to the show.

The a/w edition also marked the launch of Singular. This completely new area of the show places a spotlight on young labels and small-batch collections in an unedited space with the atmosphere of a pop-up store.

Furthermore, Playtime Paris continues to highlight brands that are participating for the first time via its New Now space. For this edition, The Mum Club made the selection of 10 brands making their show debut.

The next edition of Playtime Paris takes place on 2-4 July 2022. For further information, please click here.
