Exhibition stand at Playtime Paris show

Due to the ongoing health crisis, Playtime Paris is cancelling the July 2020 edition of its trade fair. It is now looking at the possibility of a show on 5-7 September 2020.

A final decision will be made in May in order to allow time to reflect and review the situation. An announcement to delay or cancel Playtime New York and Playtime Shanghai will also be made in May.

In the meantime, the show is focusing all efforts on its digital B2B platform, which it has been developing for five years.

Next steps

Playtime recently announced that it would temporarily conduct itself as a non-profit company; offering a reduction of 25% on the price of a booth. This commitment remains unchanged.

It is now offering a discount of 50% for a one-year subscription to the iloveplaytime B2B marketplace. With this discount, the digital subscription – at an average of €83 a month – will now cost €498 per season.

Playtime states that before the end of the year its platform will have 4,000 verified buyers. It will also be increasing communications and creating additional content for the B2B marketplace.
