Playtime Paris prepares for 27th edition

Playtime Paris, the children’s fashion and lifestyle trade show, will return for its 27th season on 25-27 January 2020. Taking place at Parc Floral de Paris, the show’s theme is “Be Happy”; taking inspiration from the carefree joy and energy of childhood.

Present this season will be 450 fashion and lifestyle brands, 87 from France, with the remaining 363 being international.

New Now

The show’s popular New Now space will return for a/w 20. A true brand incubator, it will shine the spotlight on 12 promising brands exhibiting at Playtime Paris.

This season, the brands have been selected by Elisa Gallois, the influencer behind the famous Et Dieu Créa blog.

The 12 New Now brands this season are: Babychi; Grass & Air; Jelly Made; Be Kind; Marae Kids; Mello Merino; Mika & Milo; Mimichic; Nanay; Pippins Denim; The Natty; and Maison Tadaboum.

Drawing and illustration have always been part of Playtime’s DNA; a fact that is without a doubt most evident at the show’s créa.tif space. There, 12 graphic and textile designers will gather to present their visions and share their passion for prints.

Interactive trends

To capture the essence of the season, buyers can also visit the show’s trend forum. There, the essential wardrobe for a/w 20 will be depicted through three general trends formed by the creative agency INSTINCT.
