Following its Pink Ribbon collection last October, Swedish childrenswear brand Polarn O. Pyret (PO.P) has launched its next charity collaboration, with proceeds going to support Wateraid.

Wateraid is a UK water charity on a mission to bring clean water to people who need it most. A staggering 771 million people in the world do not have clean water close to home. Wateraid’s work includes digging wells and installing taps in communities as well as helping to change laws. To date, the charity has directly reached 28 million people with clean water and decent toilets, and 26 million with good hygiene.

A donation of 10% of all proceeds from sales of the collection will go to Wateraid.

The Wateraid collection features organic loungewear for babies and children aged 0-12. It includes two legging and top sets for ages 1-12 and two babygros for ages 0-2 years. Two prints are available, including PO.P’s iconic stripes in a new limited-edition sky blue as well as a cloud print.

Using GOTS certified organic cotton, PO.P loungewear provides comfort and durability. The baby and children’s sizes also extend at the cuff, so the garments grow with them. Other design features include flat sewn inner seams and soft, long thread cotton fibres.

Speaking about the launch of the latest charitable collection is Mats Nilsson, PO.P’s UK MD.

“We are delighted to be supporting Wateraid with our spring charitable collection. We were so pleased with the success of our Pink Ribbon range last October, so we are looking forward to supporting another fantastic cause this season. We are all thrilled with our cloud print and hope, along with our signature stripes, it will be hugely popular so we can raise lots of money for Wateraid this spring.”
