Pitti Bimbo 103 is set to make a splash this summer, bringing together the brightest names in children’s fashion for an unforgettable showcase in Florence. With a vibrant poolside theme, the event promises a lively celebration of creativity, innovation and the freshest trends. Located on the Top Floor of Fortezza da Basso, the 103rd edition will transform the space into a prime setting for the season. Expect everything from mini-me looks by iconic labels, experimental designers bringing fresh energy, and redefined formalwear with a modern, effortless touch, through to thoughtfully designed toys and furniture. As industry professionals and global buyers prepare to gather from around the world, Pitti Bimbo is gearing up to showcase the latest s/s 27 collections and create valuable networking opportunities within the kidswear community.

The Pitti Pool

The editorial theme for Pitti Bimbo 103 is The Pitti Pool, symbolising qualities such as freshness, transparency, playfulness and innovation, and creating a setting designed to foster connection and strengthen community. Art director, illustrator and designer, Amedeo Piccione, created the concept using his signature approach, which will be reflected throughout the show. Following the introduction of Pinguino Pitt in the previous winter edition, the summer event will feature a new character, Splashy, an adventurous teddy bear travelling from the mountains to Florence to engage with the dynamic world of international kidswear. Through marketing and creative displays at the show, The Pitti Pool welcomes the whole Pitti Bimbo community to “dive in” and enjoy the enchanting world of kidswear.

A strategic hub for global buyers

Pitti Bimbo is designed to inspire buyers by presenting the latest collections and encouraging creative approaches to changing consumer needs. This season, buyer engagement is at an all-time high, thanks to a strengthened incoming programme supported by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE). In addition to shining a spotlight on emerging opportunities in Asia, the event’s focus remains sharply on established markets in the USA and Europe. At Pitti, buying is approached as a strategic process of exploration. The event offers an immersive environment with high-level networking opportunities, refined hospitality and premium services, with no entrance fees for qualified professionals. To further maximise efficiency, the Pitti Connect digital platform serves as an essential resource, helping to build connections and sync the business agenda seamlessly – before, during and after the fair.

The New Edit

This season, the New Edit draws attention as it presents a carefully curated mix of brands in a newly designed setting. The fair is updating this curated area to reshape how guests experience the show while giving featured brands a distinct presence. Backed by a unified communication approach, Pitti is creating something original and inspiring, reinforcing its role not just as a trade show, but as a creative destination to explore the future of kidswear.

Creative Hub

The Pitti Bimbo Creative Hub promises to be a standout attraction this summer. It will showcase a carefully chosen group of brands known for their daring creativity and distinctive styles. In addition, Pitti is unveiling a new communication platform specifically for its community, combining artistic innovation with a fresh perspective on children’s fashion. The project will unfold through dynamic runway shows, interactive installations, and curated presentations that highlight each brand’s unique creative spirit. This immersive hub is more than a simple showcase; it’s a strategic platform to amplify each brand’s voice within the magical energy of The Pitti Pool.

Collaborations

Returning this summer is the popular Piazza Pirouette with Pirouette founder Katie Kendrick. Pitti Bimbo’s and Pirouette’s creative collaboration, storytelling and design will intertwine to offer exhibitors and visitors a uniquely curated space to connect. Visitors to the Piazza will discover summer collections from a refreshing selection of creative kids’ brands, and beyond the artistry of the Piazza, Pirouette will bring the season’s trends to life with the Pirouette Runway Show. Bringing a further wave of summer inspiration is The Family Circle, a Hamburg-based platform for curated family events founded by Nadine Jung. Building on the success of previous collaborations with Pitti Bimbo, The Family Circle will present another offering of hand-picked lifestyle treasures for kids, from playful design objects to must-have accessories.

Beyond the Collections

Alongside the s/s 27 collections, the Pitti Bimbo experience will come alive through a curated programme of events. Influential editors, global content creators, buyers and industry pioneers will unite for two full days of workshops, networking and special exhibitions, including insightful presentations, creative collaborations and runway shows that lead the way.
