Price & Buckland, one of the largest school uniform suppliers in the UK, has teamed up with Sharewear Clothing Scheme to help combat crisis and create change.

Over the years, Price & Buckland has worked with several charities and is now entering a new partnership with Sharewear. Sharewear provides emergency clothing, shoes and bedding to people in Nottinghamshire. However, it is currently expanding and looking to supply the same service to other cities in the UK.

Price & Buckland will be donating its excess and redundant clothing to the charity. This includes the whole school uniform range, from polo shirts to trousers and blazers. The clothing donations will be a big help to those in need, ensuring they keep as many people as they can warm this winter.

Price & Buckland ensures the highest quality standards are adhered to in the manufacturing process. This means that the clothes will not only kit out those unable to purchase their own clothing but will also get them looking smart in durable garments.

Social responsibility and ethical trading are also high on Price & Buckland’s agenda. It is always looking for ways to ensure fair working practices across all its suppliers. Plus, reduce its carbon footprint. The company’s blazers, for instance, are made from recycled bottles. So far this year, they have utilised 802,000 bottles; the equivalent of eight Olympic swimming pools.
