The interior of baby and childrenswear shop Love Ivy

Kerry Fitzpatrick began her retail career in womenswear before opening Love Ivy, a traditional baby and children’s clothing store in Grangemouth, in 2013 after the birth of her daughter, Ivy.

In May, she expanded the business by opening a second store in Alloa. Designed to feel fun and welcoming, the shop features colourful, child-focused décor with a hot air balloon theme throughout, and stocks clothing from newborn to eight years alongside a range of accessories.

Labels include Emile et Rose, Pretty Originals, Pastels & Co, Deolinda, Baby Gi, Tutto Piccolo, Rapife, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Pex and Kleo Kids, with more brands due next season. Fitzpatrick works hard to support her local communities, providing raffle prizes and vouchers to local charity events, clubs and groups for fundraising, as well as donating clothing to local charities.

Now the owner of shops in both Grangemouth and Alloa, she is focusing on nurturing the businesses, together with growing Love Ivy’s online presence.
