Jen Marshall, a parent to three young children, opened Rainbow Bay in August 2025 to provide children’s shoes that balance comfort, quality and personality. Rainbow Bay offers a bright, playful and immersive environment, with careful consideration given to create an inviting atmosphere that feels engaging for children yet remains calm and organised for parents.

Rainbow Bay specialises in high-quality kids’ footwear designed to support healthy foot development from brands including Froddo, Bobux, Start-Rite, Geox, Primigi, Be Lenka, Lelli Kelly, Grass & Air, Crocs, Ricosta and SuperFit.

The range covers first walkers through to older children, with a strong focus on fit, comfort and durability. Various widths, supportive constructions and carefully selected styles are available, catering for everyday wear, school and special occasions. Alongside the footwear is a complementary selection of accessories, seasonal essentials, a range of nursery and school accessories, and a small gift collection tailored to birthdays and special treats.

Long-term, the goal is to establish the store as a recognised destination for children’s footwear while continuing to deliver a highly personalised service and an enhanced ecommerce platform. As part of this growth, Rainbow Bay has recently acquired Jump Shoes Online, strengthening its digital presence and expanding its reach to families beyond the local area.
