Baby laid on the floor in a cloth nappy

Reusable cloth nappy company TotsBots has reported a 20% hike in sales and a doubling in new customers in the past week alone. This figure accounts for an 80% growth on last year.

TotsBots started selling at 440 Boots stores nationwide in February. With the increase in panic buying due to Covid-19, it seems parents are stocking up on reusable instead of disposable nappies.

“It’s a smart choice,” says TotsBots co-founder Fiona Smyth. “Disposable nappies not only end up in landfill and cost more in the long-run, but at times like this it’s good to know you won’t be stuck if disposables disappear from the shelves.”

Reusable cloth nappies like TotsBots contain no nasty chemicals, are easy to wash and quick drying.

TotsBots’ nappies are available in various styles and sizes for newborn babies through to toddlers. Plus, there are nappies for daytime and more robust nappies for night-time. For parents self-isolating and keeping children indoors, it’s a safe and reliable solution.

TotsBots makes its award-winning reusable nappies here in the UK. It is also the first nappy company in the world to make waterproof fabric using 100% recycled plastic waste.

The environmentally-friendly cloth nappy company was recently acquired by UK organic lifestyle brand, Frugi.
