Hounslow-based schoolwear retailer, School Bells, has three new charity partners; Save the Children, The Children’s Trust and also Tree of Hope.
The retailer, which supports the charities with monthly donations, began its partnerships in 2019. The aim now is to increase contributions on a yearly basis. Also, to become more involved with the charities’ future fundraising events.
Commenting is Prashant Kapoor, director of School Bells. “This is a family business and most of its values and ethics are an extension of our personal ideology.
“Being a business that revolves around children, we decided to support these particular charities as their values and morals match our beliefs.”
Chosen charities
Save the Children exists to help every child reach their full potential. Present in over 100 countries, including the UK, the charity works to make sure children stay safe, healthy and keep learning.
The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury. It delivers rehabilitation, education and community services. It does this through skilled teams that work with children and young people and their families.
Finally, Tree of Hope is a crowdfunding charity that helps children and young people with a disability or illness. It supports families to raise the money they need to pay for specialist care that isn’t freely available through the UK healthcare system.
Kapoor continues: “We are very impressed with what these wonderful charities are doing for children all over the world. We want to be part of their journey, to contribute, and to help them continue their amazing work.”
