About the Schoolwear Association

The SA represents all those involved in the supply of school-specific uniform. This includes retailers, direct to school suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, suppliers, decorators, agents and schools.

The Association promotes best practice among members. It also strengthens the links between schools, retailers, manufacturers and suppliers to schools. Furthermore, the SA communicates with schools directly; encouraging them to actively seek SA members for their supply needs.

Established in 2006, the Association has over 200 members, all of which have signed up to a Code of Practice outlining ethical and fair trading. The SA committee, which comprises many people from across the entire industry, gives its time voluntarily.
