Clare Banya launched Silk Bubs in 2019 in response to her baby daughter experiencing balding due to friction to her head and hair. Silk Bubs focuses on reducing hair loss and baby balding caused by sleeping positions and wearing hats or headbands with a curated range of comfortable accessories.

 

 

The brand offers a range of accessories for babies and toddlers that include 100% natural silk, which is key for reducing hair loss and achieving healthy, moisturised hair.

The collection consists of silk cot sleeves and silk-lined blankets, hats and headbands. The silk helps reduce the amount of friction that may occur and provides hydration so that there is less hair breakage.

 

 

 

“I originally created this brand for my daughter,” says Clare Banya, founder of Silk Bubs. “Now, I want all parents to understand the benefits of silk-lined accessories for children.

“My products are designed to enhance both comfort and ease for babies and kids. Currently, our accessories feature hats, blankets, headbands and a cot sleeve to keep kids’ hair flourishing. Silk Bubs aim to provide practical solutions for  children.”
