Skoolkit has opened a new store in Salisbury, expanding its school uniform retail network further into Wiltshire. The family-run business has over 40 years of experience and already serves schools and families through stores in Basingstoke, Eastleigh, Fareham, Havant, Totton and Newbury.
Skoolkit acquired Kids Klobber in Salisbury after the retirement of its owners. Following the acquisition, the store was integrated into Skoolkit’s retail network and officially began trading under the Skoolkit brand on 28 May 2026.
Originally launched as a market stall in 1987 before moving into a shop in 1994, Kids Klobber has built a strong reputation in the schoolwear market. By bringing the Salisbury shop into the Skoolkit family, local schools and families continue to have access to a school uniform specialist, whilst enabling Skoolkit to strengthen its support for schools across the region.
Skoolkit combines its shops with a comprehensive online store and a dedicated direct-to-schools operation, as well as supplying branded uniform and clothing solutions for businesses and sports clubs. The Salisbury opening comes as Skoolkit continues to invest in its operations, including new DTF printing capability, delivery fleet upgrades, and ongoing systems development to support service quality and efficiency across the business.
