Taking place at Olympia London on 18-20 February, responsible sourcing show, Source Fashion, will put the spotlight on UK suppliers and British craftsmanship, offering a broad range of specialisms from premium wovens to upcycling.

“The UK is recognised as a centre for excellence in fabrics and textiles,” says Source Fashion’s event director, Suzanne Ellingham. “Furthermore, it is one of the leaders in drawing attention to responsible manufacturing. Small clothing firms proudly take their place next to global brands at Source Fashion. In the UK, there is space for all, and for those looking to manufacture close to home, every company in this space is a must-see.”

National Weaving

The show’s UK suppliers include National Weaving, a family-operated British manufacturer with over three decades of expertise specialising in premium woven and printed labels. The company’s ethos revolves around authenticity, sustainability and social responsibility within the industry, with all products meticulously crafted in its Welsh factory since 1987. Catering to a diverse clientele, it also offers quantities ranging from just 100 labels.

This award-winning British manufacturer (pictured top) produces premium quality yarns from its spinning mill in Cornwall for the fashion and textiles industry. Experts in fibre processing, the company works with a range of pure, natural and sustainable materials such as Wool, Alpaca and Mohair, and specialisms include small batch fibre processing, a Farm to Yarn service delivering a traceable fibre journey, and Research and Development activities trialling alternative and innovative natural fibres and materials.

Circular Inc

With funding from Innovate UK alongside a partnership with the University of Brighton, it has developed multiple upcycled business models that use CLO, the 3D Fashion design garment visualization software, to significantly reduce development time and costs.

The company aims to supply the industry with products that do not compromise on quality, providing an all-in-one service to manage every step of the critical path in production from the development stage to logistics.
