Heritage shoe brand Start-Rite Shoes has partnered with SizeWise to launch a first-of-its-kind digital foot measuring tool, enabling parents to measure their child’s feet wherever they are.

SizeWise provides a quick and accurate foot measurement from the convenience of a mobile device. The simple-to-use measurement system means that children will always be in the correct Start-Rite size, giving shoppers confidence when making online purchases.

Importantly, being in the correct size-fitted footwear supports a child’s healthy foot development. According to the Children’s Foot Health Register, over £30 million is spent annually on chiropody services for the over 60s. Most of these foot problems (around 70%) relate to badly fitting or unsuitable footwear in childhood.

The SizeWise tool also supports Start-Rite’s commitment to sustainability. By helping online customers get their child’s shoe size selection right first time, it will avoid the purchase of multiple sizes and reduce returns.
