Seventy-three per cent of buyers are European, primarily from Italy, Portugal and Mediterranean countries. The show will also play host to Latin American professionals (36%), the Middle East (33%) and Africa (18%).

From Armenia, Reyma and Kids Group, the main operators in the market with eight stores, will be present at BKS + FIMI in January. Also, from Latin America, Tia Mia (four stores in Guatemala), Mikomar (12 stores in Uruguay), and Bebelandia, one of the main operators in Ecuador with 30 stores.

For the first time, Almacenes Siman, the large department store established throughout Latin America, will also be present at the fair. Other notable markets this season include Poland, Bulgaria and Romania, including Bulgarian store chains Comsed and Bokal.

Commenting on the upcoming edition of BKS + FIMI is event director Alicia Gimeno.

“Buyers and media visit us because our event is unique in the world. There is no other fair that generates these synergies in the children’s sector: childcare, baby and kids’ fashion, footwear, accessories, toys, cosmetics…All the offer in a single space.

“International clients come to BKS + FIMI for its great commercial showcase and year after year they highlight their interest in our fair. Expectations are high, as we also expect the visit of national buyers who will come from all the states of the country.”

Other event highlights this season include FIMI Kids Fashion Week and BabyKid Childcare Week – an exclusive catwalk that will return after its premiere at last year’s edition. BKS + FIMI is co-organised by Feria Valencia and ASEPRI. For further information, please click here.
