A baby crawling on a wooden floor wearing a striped jumper and a Peter Rabbit print cloth nappy by The Nappy Den

The Nappy Den has launched The World of Peter Rabbit™ cloth nappies in the UK, with a new range of reusable nappies and accessories created under license from Penguin Ventures on behalf of Frederick Warne & Co. Ltd.

The Nappy Den was established in the UK during lockdown by owner and mother of two, Lorna Price. Price is now bringing her personally engineered nappies together with the iconic and classic children’s character, Peter Rabbit.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit was first published in 1902. However, the adventures of Peter Rabbit and his friends continue to delight generations of children around the world, with two million of the original Tales selling globally every year.

Beatrix Potter was a keen conservationist during her lifetime, working to preserve the beauty of the Lake District, which inspired her many stories. The Nappy Den, meanwhile, aims to help eco-conscious parents navigate the world of reusable nappies by reducing waste, saving money and providing products that are kinder to babies’ skin.

Commenting on the launch, Price says: “I am so thrilled to be able to bring this collection to life for future generations. I, like many, have grown up with Peter Rabbit, and I am beyond excited to be able to showcase Beatrix Potter’s iconic characters on my reusable nappies.”
