The Puppet Company collaborates with the Natural History Museum
Family-run puppet and soft toy specialist, The Puppet Company, has launched a new product range designed in collaboration with the Natural History Museum. The new Dinosaur Plush Collection offers soft toys developed alongside Museum palaeontologists.
The collection brings six prehistoric beasts to life through detailing and realistic printing. Working in collaboration with the Natural History Museum, the design of each dinosaur is scientifically accurate, produced with sustainability in mind, and manufactured to the highest safety and quality standards. Created to help support learning, encourage communication and creative play, each plush also includes fun facts to bring natural history to life.

The Puppet Company is passionate about helping children learn through play. Speaking about the launch is owner and former Early Years teacher, Sue Lockey.
“We are so proud of this collaboration, delighted with the results, and excited to see this roaring collection come to life through play. Working with the Natural History Museum has been a true highlight, and this is our most exciting Dinosaur collection yet. Millions of visitors from all over the world flock to the Museum – the home of the dinosaurs – to get up close with these awe-inspiring giants of the past, making this collaboration truly special.”
Louisa Skevington, Licensing Manager at the Natural History Museum, adds: “We are delighted to be launching our first range of dinosaur plush with The Puppet Company. The Dinosaur Gallery is always a highlight for children visiting the Museum, so we can’t wait for kids to be able to have their very own Museum-approved dinosaurs at home to play and learn with. The Puppet Company has captured the species so vividly with colours and details – it really is an eye-catching plush collection.”
The collection’s launch is two-phased, with further developments in January 2026. For sales enquiries, contact info@thepuppetcompany.com or click here to visit The Puppet Company’s website.
